Bimini 1994   

A passionate boater, he grew up landlocked in Pittsburgh but was never far from water, if only the nearest creek or river. For the past 13 years he has cruised the waters of South Florida and the Bahamas in his boats from 17 to 28 feet.

Admittedly he has never sailed around the world, across the ocean or entered a yacht race, let alone won one. He has, however, managed to run aground in two countries in one day and feels that should count for something. Plans for grounding in three countries in a day are in the works.

When not working, he can found on his boat the Velvet Elvis. Doing research, of course…
